I’m an Alien!
There is no time or situation where I share my opinions and views about a subject matter from a biblical context that I won’t be seen or considered as ‘different’.
Being an alien will cause one to live a life in a world where all the standards or norm are totally different from where they are made from. In today’s world where everything is void of the spirit of God, finding one who takes care in walking according to the will and purpose of God is very rare and so when you do find one, he or she has to be abnormal, holier than thou, someone I would call an Alien!
Consider the anthem of one from this Alien nation in Rom 12 verse 2 (Amp and Message bible version), we would appreciate that in today’s Christiandom and world, you can hardly find one who doesn’t conform to this world superficial customs, hardly find one who stays true to his creators original script.
An Alien knows where they come from and knows they are going back no matter what, they live in the transit place doing what they have been called to do, obeying the laws of the land but not disobeying the laws of their creator, adding value as much as they can, ensuring they make best use of time, resource and situations with the word of God as their guide.
An Alien is from an Alien nation, a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, born into this world but not of this world. Resides in a vessel called a body but isn’t ruled by it, is a super human because he or she have got the Spirit of God.
Are you an Alien? Are you sold out to a lifestyle of a Christ follower?

Ephesians 4:15-20
Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
16For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.
17So this I say and solemnly testify in [the name of] the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the heathen (the Gentiles) do in their perverseness [in the folly, vanity, and emptiness of their souls and the futility] of their minds.
18Their moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is beclouded. [They are] alienated (estranged, self-banished) from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the ignorance (the want of knowledge and perception, the willful blindness) that is deep-seated in them, due to their hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature].
19In their spiritual apathy they have become callous and past feeling and reckless and have abandoned themselves [a prey] to unbridled sensuality, eager and greedy to indulge in every form of impurity [that their depraved desires may suggest and demand].
20But you did not so learn Christ!
Father, we pray for grace to leave the things of the past while we were in sin.
We pray for grace to know when the words are from you and not from the hearts of men
We pray that your spirit leads us, the church and those who lead the church
May our leaders fear you and receive wisdom through obedience to you
