Spiritual Building

You know how you meet a new person and start building relationship with them? Constantly calling and sharing ideas, common interests etc? How about your body upkeep? How much care would you say you give your body? Do you spend time and money to look good via the Gym or the shops?

Just as you do all these things daily, weekly and yearly, so should you build up the spirit of God in you. When you do this you are better equipped to make decisions lead by the spirit of God and not according to the way of this world.

1 Timothy 4 verse 7 But reject profane and old wives fables, and exercise yourself towards godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

The weakest link amongst us have no idea of the life that is to come because they are very much conformed to this world and are unable to walk in the renewal of mind the bible teaches. But this world WILL end and so will our body on this earth (in this world) hence He/She who doesn’t practice spiritual building which is our best source of godliness (righteous living) will lack profit in all things and will be lost to what the gifts of the spirit are. While the Finding you series 1 through to 7 teaches practical implementation of godliness by helping re educate us in daily living via the choices we make, there is also a spiritual building that goes with this and it’s an outfit we should wear always, yes an outfit! We need to wear the outfit so that we are able to stand up against spiritual bullying used by the world to trick us, take charge of situations that should not ground us to a stand still, destroy all manner of negative stronghold and live in this world as a light.

Be expectant of the next series as we go through our instructions on what our outfit should really look like. The outfit will further strengthen your battle to take charge of the gates to your soul and bring your real self to life. Once we are done with our outfit, we will get to know the spirit and then see what the gifts of our spiritual building are.

Though mis-educated by the world for so long, the spirit of God will lead us right if we seek Him and by His grace for He wants non to perish. The more you exercise and feed your spirit, the more you are attentive to spiritual things and give less focus on the things of this world, YOU WILL STILL SHINE BECAUSE YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
